Having worked with accounting firms for the past 10 years, Kari develops and leads strategic marketing and business development programs designed to help professionals build relationships with key contacts in the marketplace, increase referrals, generate leads and grow revenue. Jessica is a professional dedicated to making the lives of busy executives easier. Whether she’s serving as an effective gatekeeper; managing busy calendars; preparing well-researched and accurate documents; or efficiently handling daily office tasks, she enjoys a challenge and learning on the go.
When it comes to serving clients, Jessica excels. A keen marketing and organizational sense keeps her grounded in the high-flying world of accounting firm marketing client service. One moment she’s coordinating details of a marketing plan and the next she’s issuing critical client communications.
Jessica lives just north of Chicago in Gurnee, Illinois. She keeps very busy with her husband and four kiddos. She enjoys traveling and going on adventures with her family. Jessica is very active in her community and regularly volunteers with the Safe Families for Children organization, working with struggling families/children in the Chicagoland area.
Laura gets a spark from bringing her clients’ ideas to life. As freelance writer and owner of Creative Sparks, Laura writes thought leadership content for accounting professionals, translating their ideas into compelling content. Diving into meaty content development projects for Inovautus Consulting’s clients is right up Laura’s alley. Whether it’s interviewing a firm’s C-level executive clients, authoring original technical pieces or delivering niche-based marketing content, Laura serves it up royally for firms to feast upon.
With more than 15 years of experience writing for and about the accounting profession, Laura knows the challenges and opportunities that face marketing and other firm leaders. She spent seven of those 15+ years writing and editing practice management newsletters for accounting firms, including CPA Marketing Report, CPA Personnel Report and CPA Managing Partner Report.
Laura has been a member of the Association for Accounting Marketing since 1998. As former chair of the committee responsible for producing AAM’s flagship publication, Growth Strategies, she helped to design and launch the quarterly journal.
Jess Ostroff has been working with the Inovautus team since the spring of 2013 and brings her experience working with a variety of different consultants, authors, entrepreneurs, and marketers. She has helped companies develop their online presences for the last five years, working with a variety of different industries, products, and services, which has given her a breadth of knowledge and understanding of how to execute ideas and market businesses. She loves finding efficient ways to get work done, bringing good people together, and enjoying live music.
Tricia Keels is a “get your hands dirty” kind of girl. She loves to drive projects from inception to completion. Her ability to see how a project can go from start to goal allows her to think big and detailed at the same time. As a result, she is fearless when it comes to launching new ideas into reality. With several years of experience running her own small businesses and working with business owners to develop their marketing and social media programs, she strives to help Inovautus clients do the same.
Natalie Rooney has been writing for state CPA societies and other professional associations for more than 18 years. She is on a one-woman mission to show that in addition to being fantastically smart, CPAs and librarians are actually funny. Seriously. You can make a career out of that.
When she’s not reading FASB pronouncements or interviewing CFOs, you’ll find Natalie outside, enjoying Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. Actually, come to think of it, you’ll probably find her in a hockey rink. She has two hockey-playing kids and spends most of her free time being a hockey mom.
