Q + A With Katie

I like that our work with clients is fast-paced and dynamic. My role supports my passion of lifelong learning. I’m a sponge, tirelessly driven to absorb and learn from others. It’s a thrill to keep up with technology (learn it, dissect it and apply it to our clients) There is never a dull moment.

I’m inspired by the growing number of women in the profession. It’s inspirational to first-hand see women take leadership roles, achieve work/life balance, and trail-blaze/have it all (family and career).

My patience and ability to bring calm to chaos and simplicity to the complex. Instinctively, I take robust processes or big ideas and break them down into small digestible pieces. I'm also one of the most reliable and accountable people you will encounter. When I commit to something, I'm in it 100% and if I make a mistake, I am not afraid to admit it.

  • Graduating with my master’s in business communication with a 4.0 GPA (while working full time) + (presenting my capstone during a pandemic!)
  • Traveling to Greece for Auditrust’s Conference

My "ah-ha" moment was realizing it’s better to take ownership of mistakes and treat them as learning experiences rather than cover them up or point the blame/make excuses.
