Becca has spent more than two decades immersed in the accounting profession — first as Director of Practice Growth at a top 100 accounting firm, and now as a Marketing Consultant with Inovautus Consulting. She's built her career at the intersection of marketing and business strategy, helping firms align the two so growth becomes intentional rather than accidental.
As someone who has led marketing from inside a firm and now advises firms from the outside, Becca wants her audiences to walk away knowing three things:
- Growth stalls without strategic clarity — before firms invest in more marketing or business development activity, they need agreement on who they serve best, where they create the most value, and which markets matter most.
- Marketing can't carry growth alone — results depend on a real partnership between marketing and firm leadership, with shared ownership of priorities, decisions, and expectations.
- Visibility is being redefined by AI — as AI-powered tools increasingly shape how firms are discovered and recommended, marketing plans built for yesterday's search environment need a strategic reset.
Becca has helped firms translate strategy into growth for more than 20 years — guiding them through rebrands, mergers, and CRM implementations, and building go-to-market strategies that connect marketing to business development. She was named to Accounting Today's “Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting: Ones to Watch,” inducted into the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) Hall of Fame in 2024, and served as AAM's President from 2020 to 2021.
A frequent speaker at AAM and AICPA conferences, Becca brings both the perspective of someone who led an in-house marketing team and the objectivity of an outside advisor working across multiple firms. She's equally comfortable speaking to firm leaders about growth strategy and to marketing teams about the practical realities of doing the work.
