Putting More Air in the Tires

If you’ve hit a pothole while driving this winter, join the club. Whether there’s too much air in those Firestones or too little air in those rubber beasts (or “just right,” said the big bad wolf), there’s normally an opportunity for adjustment. That’s the way with growing businesses, too. Evaluate and adjust, you might say it’s standard protocol.

Given that Inovautus Consulting is growing like a highly-watered mutant eucalyptus tree, it was time for the company to expand. And it did—most recently with me. Yes, my nearly 20 years of experience working with the public accounting profession in a variety of capacities is now planted at Inovautus Consulting. The tires are full of air.

Some of you may know me as the former publisher of industry titles AccountingWEB and Going Concern; some of you may know me from iShade. Before all of that, I cut my teeth in the profession working with CPAs nationally while employed at a rapidly growing bank…and then I headed up the marketing, public relations, business development and internal training at a mid-sized accounting firm.

Developing the reins of Director of Content Marketing & Consulting Services at Inovautus Consulting will keep me busy, providing meaningful services that today’s accounting firms need—even if they don’t know exactly what they need. I will also work on maintaining my streak of 27 consecutive days of eating gelatin with fruit. It’s real, I kid you not.

Sarah Johnson Dobek, president of Inovautus Consulting, continues to expertly drive our company, sparking positive results for professional services firms (and companies within the accounting and legal professions).

Leaving you with this first of many blog posts to come, I am thrilled to be able to put my talents and experiences to use, helping accounting firms and others in the accounting profession. With the explosion of smart content marketing opportunities and strategic possibilities out there, the sky’s the limit these days in this ever-changing environment.

Go forth and prosper.
